Job summary

Cherokee Casino Ramona is seeking a skilled Production Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare items per recipes, maintain portion control, and ensure presentation while supporting efficient operations in a fast-paced casino setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, ability to obtain a food handler’s card, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with weekend/holiday shifts and smoke/noise exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfort working in diverse environments such as kitchens, casino floors, and areas with exposure to smoke and noise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for assigned venue in accordance with menu standards.
• Follow recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain proper food presentation and timeliness of service.
• Store and handle food correctly to prevent waste and spoilage.
• Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
