Job description

The Production Cook is responsible for preparing food items according to established standards and recipes. This position plays a key role in maintaining portion control, food quality, and presentation while supporting the overall efficiency of kitchen operations. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varied shifts.

  • Prepare food for the assigned venue in accordance with menu standards.
  • Follow recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain proper food presentation and timeliness of service.
  • Store and handle food correctly to prevent waste and spoilage.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
  • Promote the Big Six values: Fun, Friendly, Quick, Comfortable, Clean, and Safe.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Comfort working in diverse environments such as kitchens, casino floors, and areas with exposure to smoke and noise.
