Job description

Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot’s enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Specialized Experience:

INSERVICE applicant and have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes:

  • 1) Implementing production schedules in assigned production shops for planning mission timeline to completion;
  • 2) Analyzing production resources such as; cost estimates, assets, materials and manpower to alleviate potential discrepancies in funding;
  • OR 3) Identifying production bottlenecks that could impact accomplishing production workload

OR an OUSTIDE applicant and have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes:

  • 1) Implementing production schedules in assigned production shops for planning mission timeline to completion;
  • 2) Analyzing production resources such as; cost estimates, assets, materials and manpower to alleviate potential discrepancies in funding;
  • OR 3) Identifying production bottlenecks that could impact accomplishing production workload .
Time in Grade Requirement:

INSERVICE Applicant who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07) OR OUTSIDE Applicant who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08) .
