Job summary

RTX in Chesapeake, VA, is seeking an onsite material handler for a 1st shift role. You will verify parts, update MMIS/SAP, and manage inventory while coordinating across CRT, storekeepers, quality, and production teams.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or AA/AS with 4+ years’ relevant experience and proficiency in MS Office; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and/or powerpoint).
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts and/or kits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Update status in MMIS and SAP/Prism systems.
• Order chemicals and manage inventory levels.
• Communicate effectively with the CRT and Storekeepers, LAM, Quality, MDO and Program Management as well as the repair team.
• Work with Production Control (PC) across all Production Cells.
• Induct products to the production floor.
• Manage MMIS material and product movement throughout the repair process.
• Generate packing/shipping requests upon completion.
• Maintain a collaborative team environment.
