Job summary

rms Company is seeking a Production Control professional to coordinate the product flow from post-machining to final inspection. You will communicate with customers and vendors, maintain schedules, and support on-time deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves collaborating with quality control, accounting, manufacturing, and engineering to move products along as scheduled, with a 1st shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Understanding of production requirements, processes, and materials.
• Scheduling/planning principles and concepts.
• Inventory principles and concepts.
• Manufacturing / ERP systems software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production schedule and work orders to enable product flow to insure on time deliveries.
• Print orders for production and monitor completion of orders.
• Supplies customer service with delivery dates.
• Monitors customer backlog reports for manufacturing to insure on-time-delivery.
• Moves products internally and expedites outside vendors.
• Expedite orders as needed to meet customer demand.
• Respond to internal customer requests.
• Prepares and submits shipping lists to accounting.
