Job summary

Standard Iron is seeking a dependable Production Control Supervisor to coordinate production activities, monitor schedules, and ensure material availability to meet customer delivery requirements. This role partners with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Plant Management.

Ideal candidates will have a 2- or 4-year degree in manufacturing or related field, strong organizational and analytical skills, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules and priorities with Customer Service and Production.
• Monitor production progress, delays, bottlenecks, and schedule risks.
• Coordinate material availability and WIP to support production schedules.
• Communicate production priorities, delays, material shortages, and schedule changes.
• Monitor job variances and assist with investigating production and material issues.
