Job summary

Frontgrade is seeking a Supervisor, Production Control to manage day-to-day tactical planning, scheduling, and flow of materials to hit delivery dates, quality targets, output and cost goals. The role emphasizes adherence to quality systems and continuous improvement across operations.

The position requires setting weekly production targets, monitoring metrics, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize planning methodologies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of experience in the field.
• No experience in people management required.

Responsibilities

• Assign routine daily tasks prioritizing work schedules for production department and monitor work at frequent intervals to ensure daily production schedules are met.
• Conduct process confirmations to ensure standard work processes are being followed; identify and address non-compliance, look for continuous improvement opportunities while ensuring all operational processes are carried out in accordance with quality systems and procedures.
• Participate in staff selection, performance management (including evaluation and discipline), coaching, training, scheduling and employee development while ensuring compliance to legal and company requirements.
• Set weekly production targets. Maintain metrics and communicate production issues at daily and weekly production or program meetings.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices.
• Follow established practices & procedures and safety, quality, and production improvement goals.
• Support SIOP and other weekly organization reporting processes.
