Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, logistics, or related engineering field with work experience or an Associate degree in a related Engineering field will be considered
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Some process improvement experience within a manufacturing/logistics environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze/improve/maximize production operations focusing on cycle time, yield, process capability, space usage, safety and ergonomics
• Project management: prepare scope and estimate documents supporting capital and special projects
• Coordinate across Operational and Administrative areas to ensure continuous improvement and optimal product flow
• Promote teamwork and develop self-direction towards company goals
• Design, justify, implement and validate new system requests and functions
• Benchmark other logistic companies’ innovation solutions and plan supply chain improvements
• Evaluate production change points with risk assessments and readiness confirmations
• Handle multiple tasks while keeping focus on critical path items
• Model behavior as a role call for associates upholding company values
