Applied Aerospace and Defense, Santa Ana, seeks a Production Control Planner to keep production moving and prevent bottlenecks in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will manage scheduling, coordinate outside processing and hardware delivery, and ensure on-time shipments while aligning demand, supply, capacity, and tooling. BS degree plus 5+ years in production control, ERP experience required.

Qualifications

BS degree or higher in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years' direct experience in Production Control, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems and ERP planning tools (Epicor preferred).
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills; excellent communication and leadership.

Production Control Planner

Pay Range: $70,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year, depending on experience

Your Key Responsibilities Include

Managing scheduling activities through the advanced planning system

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree, or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of aerospace production planning experience
Experience in production control, planning, sourcing, or materials management
Familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP planning systems
Strong communication and leadership skills
Excellent analytical abilities and comfort with Excel/spreadsheets
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
At least one year working with ERP planning tools

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Comprehensive project management and planning skills
Demonstrate strong cross-functional communication skills and good analytical problem solving abilities. Read and understand customer requirements, prints, specifications and coordination memos.

Education & Experience Required:

Extensive experience using MRP/ERP.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other PC based computer systems.
