Job Description

Role: Production Control Engineer – InfraAdminOp

Location: PA

Primary Skills: CA-7 support, Control-M, Batch monitoring and scheduling, JCL

Requirements:

Candidates must possess the following mandatory skills:

1. Strong skills in CA-7 batch monitoring and scheduling techniques for a multiplatform environment, or experience with any other equivalent scheduling tool.
2. Extensive knowledge of batch processing and experience in resolving batch abends such as SB-37, SE-37, Catalog issues, JCL errors. Ability to provide immediate fixes and submit jobs from CA-7-CA11.
3. Knowledge of TSO, ISPF, File AID, SPOOL.
4. Strong skills in Unix Shell scripting.
5. Knowledge and experience with Endevor or other version control tools.
6. Experience with service management applications such as Service-Now.
7. Good decision-making skills, with a proven track record of making timely decisions that advance organizational goals.
8. Effective communication skills, capable of tailoring messages to different audiences and executing communication strategies accordingly.
9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships quickly.

Desired Skills:

Candidates with these additional skills will have an advantage:

• Scripting knowledge or experience.
