Responsibilities

• Operate standard office machinery.
• Stores, distributes, and accounts for stores of materials. Distributes mail and delivers messages.
• Compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
• May perform duties: compiling/recording production data from orders, work tickets, product specs, and worker sheets; calculate production factors using computer and spreadsheets.
• Prepare written production reports and maintain files; compile detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers.
• Prepare written work schedules based on guidelines and priorities; compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials.
• Sort and distribute work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee time cards and post wage data on payroll records.
