Job summary

Arcamed, a provider of case and tray systems and precision machined products, seeks a Production Control Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN. You will manage the order lifecycle from PO to shipment within Sage X3, own the holds process, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

You will also handle contract reviews, communicate with customers regarding status and changes, and maintain prints and specifications to keep data accurate.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of related experience in manufacturing or production control.
• Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the order lifecycle from PO placement through production release and shipment in the ERP system (Sage X3).
• Own the manufacturing holds process, daily status reporting, and communicate delays to internal teams and customers.
• Manage the contract review process from initiation to completion, ensuring documentation is accurate and approvals are secured.
• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, schedule changes, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain customer prints and specifications, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with department leads to assess feasibility of expedited or delayed ship dates and communicate commitments.
• Support cross-functional communication between sales, operations, quality, and customer throughout production.

Purpose:

Manages manufacturing holds process, ensures accurate order documentation, and coordinates with internal teams

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the order lifecycle from purchase order (PO) placement through production release and shipment, ensuring accurate records in the ERP system (Sage).
• Own the manufacturing holds process, including:daily status reporting, maintaining accurate records in Sage and on the internal holds board, and communicating status changes and potential shipping delays to internal teams and customers
• Manage the contract review process from initiation through completion, including:ensuring order information and documentation is accurate, securing required approvals ahead of ship dates, and serving as point of contact for contract review questions
• Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, schedule changes, and delivery commitments
• Maintain customer prints and specification sheets by ensuring information is accurate and documented appropriately.
• Coordinate with department leads to assess feasibility of expedited or delayed ship date requests and communicate resulting commitments to internal and external customers
• Support cross-functional communication between sales, operations, quality, and customer throughout the production process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Credentials and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• At least two years of related experience and familiarity with manufacturing
