Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a Production Control Clerk to join the Chambersburg, PA team. The role focuses on compiling and recording production data, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support production goals.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of production control experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing and background screening. Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance is also required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as a Production Control Clerk.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have the ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
• Ability to receive Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures.
• Write production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared.
• Compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies; chart production using charts/graphs for reference by production and management personnel.
• Position may require obtaining a forklift license and material packout/preservation.

The Production Control Clerk position compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production by using spreadsheets and the LMP computer program. Responsibilities

• May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.
• Additional tasks include writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
• This Clerk, compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies charts production using chart, graph, or pegboard based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel.
• Position may be required to obtain a forklift license and material packout/preservation.
