Job summary

GCX is seeking a Production Control Clerk to provide administrative support for production control. The role handles manufacturing timekeeping, inventory tracking, cycle counts, and data in ERP/MRP systems, aiding finance with reporting accuracy and variance follow-up.

This position will bridge the shop floor and office, remaining available to shop floor staff for questions and review of shop orders, and supporting training on production control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 3+ years of related production control or manufacturing clerical experience.
• Comfortable working in a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently within established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review manufacturing timekeeping records.
• Support manufacturing labor reporting and inventory reporting.
• Identify and elevate data inconsistencies or reporting issues.
• Aid with reconciling inventory discrepancies.
• Aid with proofing and manufacturing close shop orders.
• Input and maintain production and inventory data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Back up for Training of employees on timekeeping, inventory, and production control procedures.
• Perform and coordinate cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Control Clerk provides administrative support for production control. This role is responsible for manufacturing timekeeping, inventory tracking, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate production data in ERP/MRP systems. Assists with reporting accuracy and follow-up on variances from finance. The position supports manufacturing and finance operations, assists with reporting accuracy, and provides training on production control and inventory processes.

Will work between the shop floor and office for continuous availability to shop floor employees for questions, issues, and for review of shop orders.

• Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
• Location: Franklin, MA (On-Site)
• Hourly Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour
