Job summary

Applicantz, Inc. is seeking a Metrology Support Technician for a 6-month onsite contract in Fremont, CA (94538).

Work 12-hour shifts from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 3 or 4 days per week, including Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and alternating Wednesdays. You will oversee production processes in the Metrology Department, manage jobs, coordinate with shipping, and act as a liaison to other departments while upholding core values and customer IP protection.

Job description

This is 6 Months onsite contract role in Fremont (94538). 3/4 days per week, 12-hour shifts, 4:00 AM–4:00 PM. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, plus alternate Wednesdays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing and maintaining the production processes within the Metrology Department
• Manage incoming and outgoing jobs for both internal and external metrology service requests
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams and couriers
• Act as a liaison between the Metrology department and other internal departments
• Provide feedback on systems and work towards continuous improvement
• Foster a healthy and inclusive work environment
• Maintain professionalism and cordial working relationships
• Adhere to “Core Values” and strict focus on Customer IP Protection

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Adaptive, quick learner, and flexible
• Ability to be extremely detail oriented, patient, organized, accountable, and work well in a team environment
• Ability to lift ~25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of customer service or sales experience
• Experience creating SOPs or similar guiding documents for professional use
• Experience in a Quality Control role
• Experience coordinating with shipping/logistics services
• Experience either leading or being part of the roll out of new professional initiative
