Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking a Production Configuration Management Analyst in York, PA for a 1-year contract-to-hire position. The role focuses on managing MCNs, analyzing MBOM changes, and coordinating with manufacturing to ensure accurate configuration across BOMs and routings.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year technical degree, strong drawing interpretation, BOM knowledge, and experience with EPDM, OBIEE, and Oracle. Excellent communication is required for cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 4-Year Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Experience reading drawings for multiple programs (TDP).
• Knowledge of BOM/Bill of Materials.
• Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM).
• Experience using OBIEE to export MBOM changes.
• Knowledge/Experience with Oracle, Item Master, Drawing File, BOMs, Routings.
• Experience with Excel systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Understanding of how products are built (sub-assembly, manufacturing steps).
• Understanding of handling non-conforming parts for re-work/upgrades by outside service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead role processing Manufacturing Change Notices (MCN) and plan implementations.
• Review Technical Drawing Package and MBOM against change docs.
• Identify MBOM configuration impacts on routings, assembly setup, and work instructions.

As a Production Configuration Management Analyst you will:

• Lead role for processing Manufacturing Change Notices (MCN's) and provide direction for implementation plan.
• Review and analyze Technical Drawing Package (TDP) along with change documents and compare to current Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM).
• Identify impact to MBOM configuration, routings, assembly setup, effectivity, material flow to the assembly floor and Work Instructions.
• Work with other manufacturing functions to gather information related to current configuration of the (MBOM).
• Arrange and conduct natural team meetings to determine plan to implement changes and follow on task.
• Provide technical input and guidance for problem solving.

Skills Required:
