This position is for C Crew/6:45pm to 7:00am.

Hourly wage: $21.50 plus 10% shift differential

Position Summary: We are seeking a professional and organized Production Clerk to join our team. This role will support the Production Supervisor by managing critical production data, updating and reconciling records within our accounting system, monitoring staffing and line status, creating labels, tracking production output, and conducting in-depth analysis of operational results. The ideal candidate will have advanced analytical skills, experience with accounting software, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in reports. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and data-driven in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize accounting systems, spreadsheets, and other tools to analyze production metrics such as quantities produced, materials used, scrap rates, defect frequency, and departmental production rates.
  • Maintain, update, and reconcile production and inventory records within the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with physical counts.
  • Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies in production or financial data to the Production Supervisor, providing actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules for assigned production areas to ensure seamless workflow and timely updates.
  • Monitor and track production progress, providing real-time updates to support operational efficiency.
  • Perform data entry and routine clerical tasks accurately.
  • Generate production labels and assist in maintaining accurate product data.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve performance goals and improve operational outcomes.
  • Perform quality Windows data entry and accuracy checks.
  • Undertake additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping or clerical experience, with proven ability to work with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and solve problems effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), including experience with pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and inventory management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds without restriction.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree or coursework in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
