Job description

Food Safety Role & Responsibility:

As an individual, the incumbent must understand the Food Safety Statement, complete the required training, perform work assignments in accordance with training, and display an acceptable level of competency with all Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies and training requirements. Food safety training will include, but is not limited to, GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Quality Statement, FSSC 22000/Global Food Safety Policy/Food Safety Goals, Visitor/Food/Site Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Blood Borne Pathogens. The individual should also request additional or refresher training if needed to effectively perform responsibilities in specific areas.

Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for the Production department.

Job Function Statements – Essential Functions:

  1. Manage Temporary Labor Force: place temp orders with Human Resources, maintain backup timekeeping documentation, and communicate between Human Resources and production management.
  2. Input production data into the Micro Strategy database and other requested reports.
  3. Maintain and update the communication board.
  4. Facilitate and participate in training of production employees and maintain training records.
  5. Assist department managers with reports for backtracking and forward tracking.
  6. Maintain Paid Time Off schedule for union employees.
  7. Maintain production labor matrix.
  8. Coordinate daily production personnel schedules.
  9. Provide complete premises (Headcount) communication.
  10. Log employee attendance and issue attendance forms to HR.
  11. Review employee time punches and issue Time Card Corrections (TCC) forms to HR.
  12. Provide clerical and administrative support for the production department.
