Job summary

The Tindall Corporation in Buchanan, GA is seeking a Production Bed Lead to direct the bed crew in setting up and pouring beds for our precast concrete manufacturing. You will ensure proper placement of cables, steel pieces and materials and align the bed layout with daily shop cards.

Responsibilities include coordinating material delivery, directing crew locations, overseeing finish quality, and assisting with toolbox talks and safety meetings to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of shop cards for days pour and plan required preparations to set up bed.
• Communicate with appropriate support employees to ensure all necessary materials are brought to the bed.
• Direct the crew as to the correct locations of all wood, steel and other materials.
• Continuously check the bed layout with daily shop cards to ensure accurate concrete member construction.
• Direct and assist employees to ensure the concrete member has the correct finish.
• Ensure crew members strip bed, clean, oil, and place bulkheads, plates, rebar, etc. throughout the shift.
• Assist with daily toolbox, production and/or safety meetings.
• Contribute as a production team member to meet production deadlines as described by the Production Supervisor.
