Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a production batch maker to stage and prepare raw materials for batches, keeping areas clean and safe while coordinating with supervision on material levels. You will operate packaging equipment and help with line downtime, contributing to efficient production.

The role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of batch making experience, with chemistry coursework preferred. Training on hazardous waste handling will be provided under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience; 1 year as production batch maker.
• College level chemistry coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare all raw materials for production batches.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in batch making and packaging areas.
• Communicate low raw material levels to supervision.
• Understand batch making and packaging processes and improve switchover sequencing.
• Report spills, leaks, equipment malfunctions, hazards, accidents and shortages to supervision.
• Operate packaging equipment efficiently and assist during downtime on the line.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling under supervision.
