Job Description

Position: Food Service Worker -- Baker/Production

Immediate Supervisor: General Manager

You will prepare all foods needed for service as directed by the menu and special events, following Metz & Associates recipes and schedules. Attendance when scheduled is essential.

Job Relations

• Prepare baked and menu items timely to ensure quality, proper temperature, and presentation.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimize space and workflow.
• Plan production to meet service needs, ensuring proper proofing and quantities.
• Review menus and production sheets with cooks to coordinate baking times.
• Supervise other personnel as needed for service tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Gather ingredients for breakfast, grab-n-go items, muffins, bagels, danish, and breads.
• Assist with setup and prep for the day’s service and future needs.
• Prepare items for lunch and other service periods, including cutting and plating.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and report issues to the General Manager.
• Ensure readiness of items for the next day’s service.
• Keep work areas clean and schedule deep cleaning as needed.
