Job Overview
Experience
2-3 years of high-volume production baking experience required. Knowledge of frying, proofing, laminating, and dough mixing is necessary. Must have a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Familiarity with safe food handling practices. Friendly demeanor, positive attitude, teamwork skills, ability to stand for long periods.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform baking duties, prepare croissant donuts, laminated pastries, glazes, fillings, and toppings. Ensure recipe compliance for consistent quality. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ensure food safety from ingredient to finished product. Maintain and report equipment issues. Manage time efficiently, prepare adequate quantities, test product quality, and maintain professionalism. Report safety hazards and accidents. Work with urgency and complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: 2-3 years of related culinary experience required.
Communication Skills: Ability to read instructions, communicate effectively with customers and staff, positively represent the company.
Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, and percent calculations applicable to food service.
Reasoning Ability: Follow instructions, adapt to changes, and handle service recovery effectively.

Hours and Availability

Benefits and Pay
Full-time status for over 30 hours/week. Benefits after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, and free life insurance. Starting pay: $18-$20/hr based on experience.
