Job summary

Dash Bio seeks a Production Automation Specialist to oversee day-to-day production on automated liquid handling platforms, bridging complex lab workflows and robust engineering.

You will champion process improvements for an industrialized, high-throughput lab, troubleshoot real-time hardware and software issues, and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with scientists, software, and hardware teams to scale production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biology, or related field with 5+ years hands-on industry experience in lab automation.
• Experience configuring or troubleshooting lab automation in fast-paced production/clinical settings.
• Hands-on proficiency with Hamilton STAR/Vantage and related instruments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production workflows to ensure high-quality liquid handling.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software bottlenecks in real-time on automated systems.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven process improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and train on SOPs and safety features.
• Collaborate with scientists, software engineers, and hardware teams to align capabilities with throughput.
