Job summary

84 Lumber Company in Harmans, MD is seeking an Associate to cut engineered wood products to spec and build loads for delivery. This role requires operating a forklift, loading and unloading lumber and supplies, and maintaining a safe, clean yard.

Work hours are 7am–4pm, Monday through Friday, with full benefits. Candidates should be able to lift up to 80 lbs and follow procedures for safe machinery operation on both automated and manual saws and routers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals); write routine reports and correspondence; speak/present in front of a small group.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.

Overview

Associate is responsible for the proper cutting of engineered wood products and building loads for deliveries. In addition, this associate must maintain a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard, load and unload lumber and/or building supplies, operate a forklift, and be able to lift 80 lbs. Other duties as assigned.

$18hr, M-F 7am-4pm, full-benefits.
