Job summary

Goodwill NCW is seeking a full-time store team member at Weston Store in Schofield, WI. You will process donations, sort and price items, stage products for the floor, and operate power equipment to support efficient store operations.

We value strong time management, clear communication, basic math skills, and a willingness to learn. Flexibility for holidays, evenings and weekends, reliable transportation, and prior power equipment experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process new and donated items to meet production goals and use team lifts as needed.
  • Sort and categorize items, send to e-Commerce per guidelines, and safely dispose of hazardous items.
  • Determine price points and ticket items for easy visibility.
  • Stage items to ensure fresh to the floor products for customers.
  • Operate power equipment (stacker, pallet jack, tilt master, compactor, forklift).
  • Maintain a clean, safe backroom and assist with general cleaning tasks.
  • Adhere to safe operation of pallet jack and compactor; 18+ and trained, if applicable.

What You’ll Get To Do:
  • Processesnew and donated items to meet production goalsand uses team lifts as needed.
  • Sorts and categorizes items,identifiesitems to send to e-Commerceaccording to organizationalguidelines, and safelyseparates and disposeshazardous items.
  • Determinespricepointandticketsitems for easy visibility.
  • Stagesitemsto ensure fresh to the floor products for our customers.
  • Operates power equipment (stacker and power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor,tipperand forklift).
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized backroom area; completes checklists andassistswith general cleaning tasks.
  • Adheres to proper operation of pallet jack and compactor (if 18 years or older and trained/checked off).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skillsandthe ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
  • Excellent communication, customer service skills, and strong attention to detail preferred.
  • Basic math skillsrequired.
  • Experience operating power equipment preferred.
  • Experience with computers ora willingnessand ability to learn.
  • Reliable transportation and ability toworka flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular andtimelyattendancein accordance withthe assigned work schedule.

Work is performed primarily in a standard retail backroom or warehouse environment with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.

  • Stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Independently twist,lift, carry,pushorpull moderate (10pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) of weight; using a team liftfor objects weighing over 25 pounds.
  • Reach (approximately 54inches).
  • Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.
  • Sufficienthand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks.
  • Verbally communicate to exchange information.
