Position: Production Associate

Primary Duty:

Manufacture, assemble, and package Steel Ceilings products to fulfill customer orders, guided by team leads or supervisors. Additional duties include material handling, crating, and assisting with machine operation.

General Duties: Maintain a clean, safe work environment; observe safety protocols; perform miscellaneous tasks such as machine operation, final assembly, crating, forklift operation, inventory checks, and supporting team members after training and qualification.

Working Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assemble materials and package products for shipment.
• Operate machinery as instructed.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and output standards.
• Keep accurate production and quality records.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
• Focus on customer satisfaction while ensuring safety and environmental standards.
• Participate in training and conform to company policies.

Education and Experience:

1. Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation preferred.
2. Knowledge of metal manufacturing and machinery advantageous.
3. Ability to learn forklift operation and other vehicle use.

Work Environment:

The role operates in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to temperature extremes, noise, dust, and uneven surfaces. PPE such as safety glasses, earplugs, and steel-toe boots are required and provided as needed.

Physical Demands:

Requires talking, hearing, standing, walking, handling, reaching, lifting up to 75 pounds, and other physical activities. Accommodations can be made for disabilities.
