Job description

Job Title: Production Associate (Shipper Packer)

Location: Livingston

Hours / Days of Work: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm, Friday 12:20pm to 6:40pm

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £29,590.43 - £30,149.91 per year

Job Description:
  1. Loading and unloading vehicles, including parts for customers, parts to and from other PCC sites, and general deliveries from suppliers.
  2. Packing parts ready for shipment to customers, sub-contractors, or other PCC sites, involving the use of cranes, material handling equipment, and banding machines.
  3. Stock control and movement of bulk chemicals for the finishing unit, following acid awareness training.
  4. Control of waste products, including hazardous waste such as empty chemical containers.
  5. Assist with product movement within the finishing unit and other departments.
  6. Apply part marking using a stamping machine when required.
  7. Participate in training for preparation of metallurgical samples.
  8. Participate in routine housekeeping activities and other 6S activities.
Experience and Qualifications:

Applicants should have FLT and crane operation experience, a positive and flexible working attitude, proven self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent attention to detail and experience working within a regulated, quality-controlled process are essential. A flexible, 'can do' attitude and strong team ethic are also required.
