Special-Lite is seeking a Production Associate for Saw/Fabrication at our Decatur, Michigan location. You will help produce our custom doors and entryways while upholding safety, quality, and teamwork.

The role involves assembling doors from templates, operating CNC equipment, and using hand tools to ensure top quality. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, reader of templates and instructions, and ability to lift up to 70 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
• Intermediate mechanical comprehension and abilities.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions in written, oral, and/or diagram form.
• Ability to measure and perform mathematical computations, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Lift 70lbs with assistance.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Preferred qualifications: Previous manufacturing, assembly, or construction experience.
• Blueprint or template reading.
