Job summary

Goodyear is hiring for a tire retread technician in Jackson, TN. You will participate in recapping, remolding, and extending tire life to keep fleets on the road.

The role includes inspecting tires, buffing casings, repairing, applying new tread, curing, and final quality checks. Starting pay is $20 per hour with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Training is provided on first shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread viability.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread and repair as needed.
• Apply rubber cement or patch and fit new tread.
• Cure the tire and perform final quality checks.
