Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking dependable Production Associates to join our team. This position performs a variety of duties involved in the processing and handling of poultry products, including working with live chickens and raw chicken.

We require workers who are reliable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused, able to handle different departments as production needs change. Training may be provided and advancement within a fast-paced environment is possible.

Qualifications

• Previous poultry processing or production experience preferred.
• Food manufacturing/production environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of poultry processing duties in accordance with established safety, quality, and production standards.
• Handle, process, debone, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, and inspecting poultry products.
• Work in different departments or positions as production needs change.
• Meet production speeds while following safety procedures.
• Work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy areas; operate around industrial equipment.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.

Bell & Evans is seeking dependable and motivated Production Associates to join our team. This position performs a variety of duties involved in the processing and handling of poultry products, including working with live chickens and raw chicken.

Responsibilities may include handling, processing, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, and inspecting poultry products while following established safety, quality, and production standards.

Employees may be assigned to different departments or positions based on production and staffing needs.

Essential Functions

• Perform a variety of poultry processing duties in accordance with established safety, quality, and production standards.
• Handle and inspect poultry products to ensure they meet company quality requirements.
• Perform tasks such as cutting, deboning, packing, weighing, moving, and processing poultry products.
• Work with live poultry and/or raw poultry products, depending on department assignment.
• Maintain required production speeds while following all safety and quality procedures.
• Be willing and able to work in different departments and positions as assigned based on operational and staffing needs.
• Work effectively in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy areas.
• Safely work around industrial equipment and follow all applicable safety procedures.
• Stand and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Frequently and repetitively use the arms, wrists, and hands.
• Lift, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.

This is a physically active position in a poultry processing environment. Employees should be comfortable working in:

• Hot and cold temperatures
• Wet conditions
• Noisy production areas
• Around industrial equipment
• Standing for extended periods

• Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds

Education & Experience

• Previous poultry processing or production experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is also preferred.
• Training may be provided to qualified candidates.
