Qualified Staffing in Owosso, MI has an opening for a Production Associate. This full-time role pays $17/hr and offers a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime and weekends possibly required.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be willing to cross-train in multiple departments. Experience with or willingness to learn plastic welding, fabrication, PVC plumbing, CNC routing, painting, or machining is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Willingness to cross train and work in multiple departments.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Understanding of blueprints preferred.
• An apprenticeship involving mechanical operations or related trades would be advantageous.
• Able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Speed weld and extrusion polypro and PVC.
• Use tools such as drills, spray guns, saws, grinders, sanders etc.
• Assist in assembly of units.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal and plastic parts.
• Review and follow electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
• Keep inventory of supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
