48forty Solutions, LLC seeks a Saw Shop Operator in Phoenix to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting and trimming wood for pallets. The role supports pallet manufacturing and requires focus on safety and quality. Competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits are offered.

Shifts: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, early morning. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work OT as needed; HS diploma or GED required. On-site location in Phoenix, AZ with a path toward long-term career advancement.

Job description

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$20.00/hr.

1st Shift Monday - Friday 500am - 200 pm

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
