Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to set up and operate power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You will be a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process and contribute to safe, efficient production.

We offer hourly pay of $19.00 with Monday–Friday shifts, overtime as needed, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$19.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
