Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Riverside, CA to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood pallets. You will be a key part of our pallet manufacturing process with a Monday–Friday shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, earning $19.00 per hour.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and attention to safety. Prior lumber or warehouse experience is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Previous lumber/warehouse/construction experience preferred.
• Fast, accurate hands and strong attention to detail.

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, you'll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You'll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we're looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$19.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 5:00AM - 1:30PM

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets

• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis

• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
