48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Fontana, CA, to set up and operate power saws for pallet production. The role runs 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with early hours and potential overtime. You will work at 14966 Whittram Ave, contributing to efficient pallet manufacture while following safety guidelines.

We require a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and prefer hands-on lumber/warehouse experience. Great benefits, pay, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood pallets for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$18.00/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday-Friday

5am-1:30pm

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets

• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis

• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed
