Job summary

3D Barrier Bags Inc. is seeking a production operator to train across all production aspects, including operating laminate fabrication machinery and following job instructions. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and hands-on engagement on packaging from foil laminates.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised, and good communication. Experience with packaging equipment and cranes is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate Machinery to a competent level in a safe manner
• Hand fabrication of climactic packaging from foil laminates
• Checking the quality of own work- carry out outlined testing as per given training
• Follow written instructions on job sheet
• Keeping logs and paperwork up to date
• Ideal candidates will have experience working on slitter-rewinder, bagging or printing machines
• Specific experience on electric overhead cranes and lifting systems together with good awareness of Health & Safety will be viewed favourably
• Ensuring material provided is of the right dimensions and the correct material grade
• Measure, weigh and count products / materials
• Completing accurate timesheets legibly
• Suggesting proactive improvements to problems encountered.
• Finding faults and resolutions
• Competent setup and operation of production machinery
• Training other staff on production machinery
• Operate " clean as you go" policy
• Ensuring that own work is completed safely and the immediate working area complies with health and safety rules
• Undertake any task assigned by supervisor and / or manager
