Job summary

ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) is seeking a Production Associate to support on-site manufacturing, assembly, inspection, rework, cleaning, and packaging. You will help ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the production line.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow long-form SOPs. The site processes tree nuts, and flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices and cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Compliance with health and hygiene standards including use of PPE.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and data entry when required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• On-site in a facility that processes tree nuts and related allergens.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks and report defects or non-conformities.
• Work Documentation: Complete production logs and data entry as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Machine Operators, Leads, and other departments.
• Communication: Escalate safety, quality, equipment, or packaging issues promptly.
• Assembly and Production: Perform production and packaging tasks per guidelines.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean work area and proper storage.
• Area-Specific Standard Work: Follow SOPs and shift handoff expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
