Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Martinsburg, WV, is seeking a manufacturing associate responsible for inspecting extruded product, packing, and maintaining packaging documentation. The role operates on a 2-2-3 day shift with hours from 7 am to 7 pm and offers benefits starting on day one, as well as on-demand and weekly pay options.

No prior experience required; candidates must be 18 or older, able to read, write and do basic math, and capable of lifting up to 86 lbs while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math
• Must possess good attendance and reliability
• Must be able to lift up to 86lbs and team lift 87–100lbs
• Ability to work in standing position for prolonged periods and in varying conditions

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect extruded product for appearance and size defects according to specifications
• Conduct recurrent tests/inspections of products' functional features
• Notify appropriate personnel of product defects
• Assemble cartons for packaging and ensure proper packing patterns
• Transfer cartons to finished product skid and label as necessary
• Maintain required packaging-related paperwork and communicate with shifts
