Job summary

Quanex in Bowling Green, Kentucky is seeking Production Associates for the Night Shift. You will perform production functions such as loading, unloading, and stacking blanks of wood in a safe manner to meet production standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous manufacturing experience on overnight shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively
• Ability to stand or walk on concrete up to 10 hours per shift
• Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines

Quanex is looking for a few Production Associates to join our Night Shift team located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

In this role you are responsible for performing assigned production functions (loading, unloading, stacking blanks of wood) in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.

What’s attractive about the Production Associate position?

• $17.00 - $19.04 per hour (rate includes 12% shift differential), pay based on applicable work experience
• Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7:30p - 6:00a with Overtime on Friday if needed
• Saturdays and Sundays Off!

What Success Looks Like:

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identifies any existing or potential safety issues.
• Attends work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
• Receives direction from and notifies the supervisor/team lead when more work is needed.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
