Job summary

Carlisle Companies in Tyler, TX is seeking an entry-level Helper to assist operators on the production line, loading, palletizing, and packaging finished products.

You will operate a sit-down forklift, perform quality checks, read production orders, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift. Training and certification provided.
  • Ability to read documents and interpret facts.
  • Understanding basic math, reading, and writing.
  • Good communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist operators at the coil loading and packaging ends of the line.
  • Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
  • Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
  • Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights.
  • Detects and reports faulty operations or defective materials.
  • Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
  • Read and understand production orders.
  • Wraps and unwraps materials.
  • Housekeeping of work areas.
  • Operates a sit‑down forklift.
  • Achieves production goals while complying with all safety requirements.

  • Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
  • Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
  • Detects and reports faulty operations or defective materials.
  • Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
  • Read and understand production orders.
  • Wraps and unwraps materials.
  • Housekeeping of work areas.
  • Operates a sit‑down forklift.
  • Achieves production goals while complying with all safety requirements.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

  • This role is performed onsite at our facility located at 10551 Pac Rd, Tyler, TX 75707.

As a Helper, you will be entitled to the following:

  • An Hourly Rate of $20.49
  • Benefits Include:
