Randstad USA is seeking a dependable Production Operator for the 2nd shift in a food manufacturing facility. You will safely operate and adjust processing equipment, perform quality checks, and maintain hygiene and GMP standards to meet daily targets.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma, physical stamina, and teamwork. Shift is 4 PM to 12 AM; salary around $45,760 per year, with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to confidently operate and troubleshoot machinery.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform active tasks throughout the day, and securely lift at least 55 lbs.
  • strong attention to detail with the proven ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or related industries is preferred but not strictly required.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control practices is considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate, set up, and monitor various food processing equipment—including mixing tanks, pumps, filling machines, and packaging machines—making necessary performance adjustments.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure all products meet company specifications, promptly reporting any defects to the quality assurance team.
  • Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including GMP, HACCP, and SOPs, while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Collaborate with the team to hit daily production targets and minimize downtime by proactively identifying and resolving equipment bottlenecks.
  • Accurately record production data, batch information, and inventory forms into computer systems and logbooks in a timely manner.
  • Assist in moving, loading, unloading, labeling, and storing raw materials and finished products to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Participate in safety training and actively contribute ideas during problem-solving discussions to enhance overall operational efficiency.
