Production Associate Lead - Breast Debone (Day-Shift)

Join Perdue Farms as a Production Associate Lead - Breast Debone (Day-Shift).

Summary: This position oversees poultry processing lines and sanitation, working with live poultry and raw products. Responsibilities include leading stations such as Live Hang, Debone, Thigh Debone, Drum Debone, Ipack, Cut up, Whole Bird, Traying, Evisceration, Stack Off, and Overwrap. The role typically requires working five to six days a week with possible overtime based on production needs.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise work at various stations processing poultry products.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE, Lockout-Tagout, and Process Safety Management.
• Ensure product quality meets QA and USDA standards.
• Maintain smooth operation of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.

Preferred Experience: Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment is preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

• Exposure to wet, moist floors, metal and plastic grating.
• Temperature exposure from 28°F to 100°F with high humidity.
• Handling products at 25°F to 50°F.
• Noise levels from 50dB to 110dB.
• Exposure to dust, feathers, and chemicals.
• Use of protective equipment required.
• Occasional exposure to vapors like carbon dioxide and chlorine.
• Ability to stand for hours, lift up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, and push.
