Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Production Assistant II for Woodlake Market. This role supports the preparation, packaging, and merchandising of premium products with strong customer service in a remote work setup.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, recommending products, slicing and packaging to standards, and maintaining cleanliness and proper labeling. Flexible scheduling with weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older and able to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Previous food production or service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and passion for food and preparation.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Ability to operate slicers, scales, and other equipment safely.
• Ability to use POS systems and cash handling.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with product selection and preparation tips.
• Provide product recommendations on pairings and methods.
• Slice, weigh, cut, and package products to store standards.
• Prepare fresh foods per recipes and standards.
• Ensure items are properly labeled and stocked for premium image.
• Maintain clean, organized cases and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols and proper storage.
