Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions is seeking a Production Associate for the Insulated Glass line on first shift at our Dallas, NC facility. The role involves moving glass, feeding production lines, labeling products, inspecting quality, and maintaining safe, clean work areas.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with warehouse or production experience, ability to read paperwork and measurements, and flexibility to work across production areas. Day-one benefits apply and on-site work only.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read basic measurements and use a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Transport materials to expedite production process.
• Read and attach labels and tags to product.
• Quality inspection and operation of equipment or manual handling.
• Understand facility layout for proper product flow and rotate tasks.
• Inspect product for abnormalities and report issues to supervisor.

Who You Are:

What You Will Be Doing:

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Skills You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, highly preferred
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
