Job description

Perform manufacturing, assembly, and other functions as required while maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of the job and meeting customer expectations.
Performs basic assembly of electronic component parts and other manufacturing processes accurately, on a timely basis and with a high level of quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Use of basic tools including torque assemblies.
• Operate press including mask assembly.
• Use computer-based testing units.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, initiatives, regulations, and best practices.
• Review and follow work orders and production cards to assure accuracy and quality of products produced.
• Utilize computer data screens for job performance and update records as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to two years of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment and meet production goals.
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle small components and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
