Description

Quanex is looking for a Production Associate(Night Shift) - Cabinet Door Plant to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Shift: Monday - Thursday (4:30 PM - 3:00 AM + overtime)

Pay: Starting Rate: $17.00 an hour, more based on experience + 12% shift differential

In this role, you will work with a seasoned crew, in a fast-paced environment, running equipment that is used to make cabinet doors such as assembly clamps and sanders. You will be checking the products for any quality issues and helping to correct them. This position prefers experience in manufacturing, preferably in woodworking.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Monitors product constantly to ensure quality standards are being met.
  • Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
  • Follows safety procedures and guidelines; and notifies others of existing or potential safety issues.
  • Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
  • Assemble various components based on customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration.
  • Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Consistently lift 20-30 pounds & ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally
  • At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience
