Job Summary

Performs multiple tasks involved in the production of various products within one department. Handles materials such as rubber, stretch cord, and packing. Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities

• Works on processes within assigned department, including insertion of materials, clamping, fitting parts, and use of hand tools.
• Measures and cuts materials to specific dimensions using tape measures and checks measurements for accuracy.
• Reads job specifications for machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Performs assembly processes using hand, electronic, and pneumatic tools.
• Notifies supervisor of mechanical, material, or safety issues.
• Labels and packages finished products, placing them on pallets.
• Follows standard work methods and procedures.

Work Environment

• Located indoors with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
• Requires physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting (up to 50+ pounds), and maneuvering equipment.
• No travel required.

Education And Experience

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
