Support and operate a variety of production equipment, assemble components into completed or partially completed products or assemblies, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Job Purpose Statement

Operates a variety of production equipment, assembles various components into completed or partially completed products or assemblies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and housekeeping guidelines. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Follow established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and work methods.
  2. Perform duties in accordance with production standards and work instructions.
  3. Assemble products according to specifications, work instructions, or blueprints.
  4. Use hand tools safely and effectively, including presses, torque wrenches, and drills.
  5. Assist in testing completed products.
  6. Maintain work quality using judgment, measuring devices, and gauges.
  7. Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution.
  8. Participate in daily cleanup and facility maintenance as assigned.
  9. Reassign to other departments as workload requires.
  10. Provide ongoing training to employees and perform other duties as necessary.
Job Details

Type: Full-Time

Shift/Pay Rate: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 4:15PM - 12:45PM, $17.50 plus $1.00 shift premium, some mandatory Saturdays

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required; 1-3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.

Skills: Ability to read and understand instructions, work orders, and prints; communicate effectively; basic math skills; reasoning ability to follow instructions and solve problems; computer skills preferred; ability to climb ladders if needed.
