Location

• This position is currently located in Hampton, NH, but the facility will be relocating to Durham, NH this summer.

• The Durham location features a brand-new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which includes:

Compensation

• $1,500 Sign-on Bonus*

• Eligible for Annual Increases

1st Shift Schedule

• This position is for 1st shift.

• Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM

• Overtime available on a business need basis.

What You Will Do

  • You will ensure materials are readily available at workstations to prevent production delays.
  • You will identify and remove waste from the production process, contributing to efficiency.
  • You will manage the timely flow of information, including Kanban cards and status boards, to ensure proper material supply and production flow.
  • You will replenish tools and equipment, and potentially assist with changeovers.
  • You will demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools.
  • You will accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
  • You will be responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
  • You will ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.
  • You will comply with applicable elements of quality systems.
  • You will participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required.
  • You will participate in audits.
  • You will acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
  • You will maintain materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition.
  • You will comply with all rules and regulations of RTX, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources.
  • You will examine methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.
  • You will report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
