Job description

Job Title: Production Associate I at Quanex

Join our team at Quanex as a Production Associate I in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM & Friday 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM, plus any required overtime.

Salary: Starting at $18.00+ per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team environment assembling components based on customer specifications.
  • Operate equipment that machines parts for cabinet doors at an entry level.
  • Monitor product quality to ensure standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
  • Follow safety procedures and report potential safety issues.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately.
  • Assist in other work areas as needed.
  • Support teamwork and cooperation among co-workers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of production or assembly experience preferred.
  • Manual dexterity skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
